MY RAJEEV FROM LUDHIANA ,PUNJAB, INDIA ,CAN I EXPEDITE MY WAITING TIME FOR IMMIGRATION VISA FOR MY I-130 PETITION DUE TO MOTHER'S (PETITIONER)OLD AGE?

Question: My Mother is a United States Citizen. She has filed an I-130 application for me in 2017, which was approved in 2018. At the time I was unmarried, but I got married in Dec 2018. My Mother is 82 years old and since my I-130 changed from the F1 Visa category to the F3 Visa category, I am so much worried that she may no longer be here by the time I get  visa. Is there any way to expedite my visa application, based on my Mother’s age? kindly help me.

The Immigration Advisor - Samar: Unfortunately, there is no way to expedite the wait for a visa to become available for an immigrant petition. It is entirely based on what preference category your petition falls into, the priority date for that petition, and your country of chargeability. There is no way to jump ahead in that line.

Your Mother should hopefully live for a very long time. But since you are concerned about what would happen should she pass away before you are able to become a US permanent resident based on her petition, you should know that in certain situations a petition can be reinstated if it becomes revoked due to the death of the petitioner.F4 India has remarkably handled such cases in previous years.I pray to God for her long life but if any thing happen wrong, you can contact to our F4 India office .
